Over the past few decades, researchers have continued to build a model for healthy aging and have identified the primary factors that determine how we can maintain and improve the highest possible level of wellness and quality of life in our later years.
Research results have repeatedly demonstrated that five very basic things have a critical impact on health and healthy aging: exercise, diet, sleep, social involvement and timely/effective medical care. Meeting these basic needs is important for everyone but they become even more significant as we grow older.
